Gall dwyn delwedd o fynydd i'r cof, Gyda'u rhinweddau o erytder, llonyddwch a sefydlogrwydd ein helpu i ddod o hyd i lonyddwch yng nghanol y newidiadau o'n cwmpas.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei drio heb arweiniad.
Mae'r synau natur ar ddechrau a diwedd y recordiad yma yn ganeuon adar ar noson oer o Ebrill mewn gardd yn Rachub wrth i'r haul fachlud.
Gwahoddiad 6: Ymarfer y mynydd
Chwalu myth meddylgarwch: Mae angen i chi ymarfer am gyfnodau hir
Mae arferion hirach yn wych hefyd, ond gall hyd yn oed dilyn anadl neu ddwy neu roi sylw ar uno'n synhwyrau helpu os ydym yn teimlo'n boenus neu'n bryderus, gan ddod a ni yn ol i'r foment bresennol.
Dyma'r sesiwn olaf yn y gyfres hon o bodlediadau meddylgarwch a natur. Gobeithio eich bod wedi mwynhau.
Mae'r gyfres o bodlediad meddylgarwch yma ym myd natur yn gydweithrediad rhwng Partneriaeth Tirwedd y Carneddau, Gwenan Roberts o Ymwybyddiaeth Gwynedd a Golygfa Gwydyr

Session 6: A mountain practice
This last session is a mountain practice. Mountains can be a great source of inspiration for mindfulness and this practice can be particularly helpful when things feel unsettled. Bringing a mountain image to mind, with their qualities of strength, stillness and stability can help us to find a point of steadiness amidst the changes around us.
You can listen to the podcast or follow the potted guidance in the invitation below. You might like to try inside with the recording first and then have a go outside...
The nature sounds at the beginning and end of the recording are birdsong at Sunset on a chilly April evening in a garden in Rachub.
Invitation 6: A mountain practice
Mindfulness myth buster: You need to practice for long periods of time
Longer practices are great too, but even following one or two breaths or placing attention on one of our senses can help if we are feeling worried or anxious, bringing us right back to the present moment.
This is the last session in this series of mindfulness and nature podcasts. We hope you have enjoyed it. There are lots of resources for developing our mindfulness practices, like the ones suggested.
This mindfulness in nature podcast series is a collaboration between the Carneddau Landscape Partnership, Gwenan Roberts from Gwynedd Mindfulness and Golygfa Gwydyr

Session 5: Engaging with the senses: exploring an object from nature and a ‘sit spot’
There are two parts to this session - mindfully exploring an object in nature using all the senses. And a classic practice from the Japanese art of Forest Bathing, which is finding a ‘sit spot’ in nature.
You can follow the podcasts or use the potted guidance in the invitations below. Both practices can be done inside or outside. You might like to try inside with the recording first and then have ago outside...
The nature sounds at the beginning and end of this recording are from the Ffos Rhufeiniaid leat running along the side of Moel Faban.
Invitation 5.i
Invitation 5 (ii)
Having a ‘sit spot’ in nature (or looking out at nature or a plant) can be a lovely thing.
Mindfulness myth buster: Mindfulness is relaxing
This might be a happy by-product. However, mindfulness gives us an opportunity to practice getting curious with whatever we encounter in our day to day lives (like our thoughts and feelings, the world around us), pleasant, unpleasant or somewhere in the middle.
The next and last session is sounds from a different part of the Carneddau and a ‘mountain’ practice.

Sesiwn 5: Cysylltu a’r synhwyrau: Llecyn llonydd ac archwilio gwrthrych o fyd natur
Mae dwy ran i’r sesiwn hon - archwilio gwrthrych ym myd natur gan ddefnyddio'r holl synhwyrau. Ac arfer clasurol o'r grefft Siapaneaidd o 'Ymdrochi yn y Goedwig, sy'n dod o hyd i‘lecyn llonydd’ ym myd natur.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei drio y tu allan...
Daw'r synau natur ar ddechrau a diwedd y recordiad hwn o'r Ffos Rhufeiniaid sy'n rhedeg ar hyd ochr Moel Faban.
Gwahoddiad 5 (i)
Gwahoddiad 5.ii.
Gall cael ‘llecyn llonydd’ ym myd natur (neu edrych allan ar natur neu blanhigyn) fod yn
beth hyfryd
Dod o hyd i le cyfforddus, gan setlo'r corff a'r meddwil y gorau gallwch chi...
Sylwi...ar deimladau yn y traed neu rythm yr anadl...
Yna dim ond agor i'r byd o'ch cwmpas, gan gynnwys eich hun...sylwi ar beth bynnag sy'n digwydd o foment i foment...synau...aroglau...lliwiau a gweadau...
Efallai y byddai'n braf dod o hyd i hoff fan i eistedd yn rheolaidd gydag ymwybyddiaeth agored, dim ond eistedd...
Os ydych yn eich gardd, a oes yna feddyliau o ‘bethau i'w gwneud’ yn tynnu eich sylw? Gall hwn fod yn gyfle gwych i ymarfer gadael iddynt fod am y tro, gan sylwi ar dynfa'r math hwn o feddyliau ac arwain eich sylw yn ôl yn dyner — at yr hyn yr ydych yn sylwi arno nawr...?
Chwalu myth Meddylgarwch: Mae meddylgarwch yn hamddenol
Gall hyn fod yn sgil-effaith hapus. Fodd bynnag, mae meddylgarwch yn rhoi cyfle inni ymarfer talu sylw yn ofalus | beth bynnag yr ydym yn dod ar ei draws yn ein bywydau o ddydd i ddydd (fel ein meddyliau a'n teimladau, y byd o'n cwmpas), gall rhain fod yn ddymunol, annymunol neu rywle yn y canol.
Y sesiwn nesaf yw'r olaf, byddwn yn dod d@ synau i chi o ran gwahanol or Carneddau ac ymarfer ‘y mynydd.

Session 4: Engaging with the senses: noticing sight
This session invites you to bring mindfulness to the sense of sight. Often, we tend to under or overuse particular senses, so spending some time deliberately engaging with a particular one can help us to practice choosing where we place our attention. For example, taking a broader perspective if we're getting a bit locked in with an unhelpful train of thought.
You can listen to the podcast or follow the potted guidance in the invitation below. You might
like to try inside with the recording first and then have a go outside...
This week, the nature sounds that abut the recording are bird song from a young birch woodland on the lower slopes of Llefn and Gyrn.
Invitation 3: noticing sight practice
Mindfulness myth buster: You have to sit very still to practice mindfulness
It can be good to practice mindfulness sitting, alongside bringing awareness to whatever we do, whether it’s noticing the feel of our footsteps, the detail of what we can see or the sound of the wind whilst out walking.
The next session will have sounds from a different part of the Carneddau and a mindfulness practice about mindfully engaging with the senses.

Sesiwn 4: Cysylltu a'r synhwyrau: Gweld
Mae'r sesiwn hon yn eich gwahodd i dalu sylw yn ofalgar i'r hyn a welir. Yn aml, rydym yn tueddu i dan-ddefnyddio neu or-ddefnyddio synhwyrau penodol, felly gall treulio peth amser yn cysylltu ag un penodol mewn modd bwriadol ein helpu ni i ymarfer dewis lle rydyn ni'n rhoi ein sylw. Er enghraifft, cymryd persbectif ehangach os ydym yn cael ein cloi i mewn i lif meddwl annefnyddiol.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei dria y tu allan.
Y tro yma, mae'r synau natur ar ddechrau a diwedd y recordiad yn gan adar o goetir bedw ifanc ar lethrau isaf Llefn a Gyrn.
Gwahoddiad 4: Sylwi ar yr hyn a welir
Chwalu myth meddylgarwch: Mae'n rhaid i chi eistedd yn llonydd iawn i ymarfer meddylgarwch
Gall fod yn dda ymarfer meddylgarwch yn eistedd, yn ogystal 4 dod ag ymwybyddiaeth i beth bynnag a wnawn, p'un a yw'n sylwi ar naws Gl ein troed, manylion yr hyn y gallwn ei weld neu swn y gwynt wrth gerdded.
Yn y sesiwn nesaf bydd y synau'n dod o ran wahanol or Carneddau ac ymerfer pellachi archwilio'r synhwyrau.

Yr Ochr Draw is the culmination of an online creative project by the Ysgwrn and the community of Trawsfynydd. During the last lock down, a group of young people , adults and children of the local primary school collaborated with various artists over Zoom and Meet to create a song and music video.
The artists involved in the project were musicians Gai Toms and Manon Llwyd, visual artist Catrin Williams, editor Rhys Grail and creative coordinator Siwan Llynor. The voices and footage for the video were all mainly recorded on mobile phones.
Gai Toms and Siwan Llynor has previously worked creatively with the community and the Ysgwrn on a theatre production 'Yr Awen'. The aim of this project was to continue the creative connections and collaboration between the Ysgwrn and the local community in challenging times ,and to celebrate the local area and its magnificent landscape. It is also a record of a unique time in history and a song of hope as we look forward to the future.
Thank you to the Welsh Government for their support.

Session 3: Engaging with the senses: listening
These next few sessions start to really engage with the senses, firstly the sense of sound. Bringing our attention to any aspect of our sensory experience can bring us right back to the here and now which can be really helpful when our minds are distracted with worries or stresses.
You can listen to the podcast or follow the potted guidance in the invitation below. You might like to try inside with the recording first and then have a go outside...
The Nant y Geuallt stream above Capel Curig on a snowy April evening provides the nature sounds at the beginning and end of this recording.
Invitation 3: Listening practice
Mindfulness myth buster: You need a really quiet place to practice (Session 3)
Mindfulness can be practiced anywhere! Often the environment around us is busy and noisy and taking a moment to simply notice the range of sounds (and perhaps also our reactions to the different sounds) can be an interesting experiment.
In the next session the sounds will come from a different part of the Carneddau with a mindfulness practice about mindfully exploring the sense of sight.
Thu, 13 May 2021 06:00:00 +0100
Sesiwn 3: Cysylltu a'r synhwyrau: gwrando
Mae'r sesiynau nesaf yn ein harwain i ddechrau cysylltu'n wirioneddol efor synhwyrau, yn gyntaf yr ymdeimlad o swn. Gall dod a’n sylw at ein synhwyrau ddod ani yn ol i'r presennol, ac fe all fod yn ddefnyddiol iawn pan fydd ein meddyliau yn cael eu tynnu tuag at bryderon neu straen.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei drio y tu allan.
Y tro yma, mae'r synau natur ar ddechrau ac ar ddiwedd y recordiad yn dod o Nant y Geuallt uwchben Capel Curig ar noson oer o Ebrill yng nghanol eira.
Gwahoddiad 3: Gwrando
Dod o hyd i le cyfforddus a gadael i'r corff setlo
Sylwi...ar unrhyw deimladau sy'n codi yn y traed neu rythm yr anadl...
Pa synau sy'n bresennol?
Ar gyfer yr ymarfer hwn, gweld os yw hi'n bosib gwrando ar hyn rydych chi'n ei glywed heb ei enwi - gan sylwi ar bethau fel y traw...dirgryniad...ton...y gwahanol synau
Pan fydd llif y meddwl yn prysuro, gweld os yw hi’n bosib i'w nodi ac yna dod yn ol at y profiad uniongyrchol, presennol o wrando
Talu sylw yn ofalus i'r sain - efallai sylwi ar synau o wahanol gyfeiriadau, synau agos neu bell, synau meddalach neu galetach, hirach neu fyrrach - beth sydd yma?
Chwalu myth meddylgarwch:
Mae angen lle tawel iawn arnoch i ymarfer (Sesiwn 3)
Gellir ymarfer meddylgarwch yn unrhyw le! Yn aml, mae'r amgylchedd o'n cwmpas yn brysur ac yn swnllyd a gall gymryd eiliad i sylwi ar yr ystod o synau (ac efallai ein hymatebion i'r gwahanol synau hefyd) fod yn arbrawf diddorol.
Yn y sesiwn nesaf bydd y synau'n dod o ran wahanol or Carneddau gydag ymarfer meddwigarwch ynglyn ag archwilio'r ymdeimlad o olwg yn ofalus.
Thu, 13 May 2021 06:00:00 +0100
Sesiwn 2: Dod at yr anadl
Mae'r arfer meddylgarwch y sesiwn yma yn eich gwahodd i angori eich sylw yn yr eiliad bresennol gan ddefnyddio'r anadl. Gall ymarfer rhoi ein sylw fel hyn yn yr oes sydd ohoni ein helpu i wasgu'r botwm saib ar yr adegau hynny pan fydd ein meddyliau'n carlamu a phryderon.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei drio y tu allan.
Y tro yma, mae'r synau natur ar ddechrau ac ar ddiwedd y recordiad yn dod o gae wrth ymyl Afon Ffrydlas, yn uchel uwchben Bethesda.
Gwahoddiad 2: Dod at yr anadl
Chwalu myth meddylgarwch: Mae angen i chi wagio eich meddwil o feddyliau
Efallai mai un o'r camsyniadau mwyaf cyffredin o feddylgarwch yw bod angen i chi
wagio'ch meddwil neu atal eich meddyliau. Nid yw hyn yn wir ac mae hyn bron yn
ambhosibl! Mewn gwirionedd, mae'n ymwneud ag annog perthynas mwy cyfeillgar a'n
meddyliau ac fe all hyn leihau tensiwn yn ein bywydau.
Bydd y sesiwn nesaf yn cynnwys synau o ran wahanol o'r Carneddau ac arfer meddwlgarwch ynglyn a defnyddio'r synhwyrau fel Ile i angori ein sylw.

Session 2: Settling with the breath
The mindfulness practice in this session invites you to anchor your attention in the present moment using the breath. Practicing placing our attention in the here and now like this can help us press pause at those times when our minds are galloping away with
You can listen to the podcast or follow the potted guidance in the invitation below. You might
like to try inside with the recording first and then have a go outside...
This week, the nature sounds that abut the recording are from a field next to the Afon Ffrydlas, high above Bethesda.
Invitation 2: Settling with the breath
Mindfulness myth buster: You need to empty your mind of thoughts
Perhaps one of the commonest misconceptions of mindfulness is that you need to empty your mind or stop your thoughts. This is not the case and is just about impossible! Really, it is about encouraging a friendlier relationship with our thinking minds which can reduce tension in our lives.
The next session will have sounds from a different part of the Carneddau and a mindfulness
practice about using the senses as a place to anchor our attention.
Wed, 12 May 2021 06:00:00 +0100
Session 1: Meeting the feet
This first session invites you to ‘meet the feet’. Very often our attention is with our thoughts. This is an opportunity to place the attention quite deliberately back in the body and to explore the world around us through the soles of our feet.
You can do this by listening to the podcast or by following the potted guidance in the invitation below. You might like to try inside with the recording first and then outside...
The birdsong at the beginning and end of this recording is from a garden backing on to the Carneddau as the sun rose over Moel Faban.
Invitation 1: ‘Meeting the feet’
Mindfulness myth buster: Mindfulness must be practiced slowly
Mindfulness doesn't have to be practiced slowly. We can practice mindful walking or running, exploring sensations of air whooshing past or the sound of the feet landing. Sometimes it can help to start by taking a pause more slowly and deliberately, noticing sensations in some detail at first.
The next session will have sounds from a different part of the Carneddau and a mindfulness practice about exploring the breath as a place to anchor the attention.
Tue, 11 May 2021 06:00:00 +0100
Sesiwn 1: Cwrdd ar traed
Mae'r sesiwn gyntaf hon yn eich gwahodd i gwrdd ar traed. Yn aml iawn mae ein sylw yn nghanol ein meddyliau. Dyma gyfle i dalu sylw’n fwriadol i'r corff ac i archwilio'r byd o'n cwmpas trwy wadnau ein traed.
Gallwch wneud hyn trwy wrando ar y podlediad neu trwy ddilyn y canllawiau byr yn y gwahoddiad isod. Efallai yr hoffech chi roi cynnig ar y recordiad yn gyntaf ac yna ei drio y tu
allan.
Daw cân yr adar ar ddechrau a diwedd y recordiad hwn o ardd sydd yn cefnu ar y Carneddau wrth i'r haul godi dros Foel Faban.
Gwahoddiad 1: ‘Cwrdd a'r traed’
Chwalu myth Meddylgarwch : Rhaid ymarfer meddylgarwch yn araf
Nid oes rhaid ymarfer meddylgarwch yn araf. Gallwn ymarfer cerdded neu redeg yn ystyriol, gan sylwi ar deimladau or awel yn rhuthro heibio neu swn y traed yn glanio. Weithiau gall helpu iddechrau drwy arafu, gan gymryd saib bwriadol, gan sylwi ar fanylion y teimladau yn eithaf manwl ar y dechrau.
Bydd y sesiwn nesaf yn cynnwys synau o ran gwahanol o'r Carneddau ac ymarfer meddylgarwch drwy dalu sylw i'r anadl fel lle i angori'r sylw.
Tue, 11 May 2021 06:00:00 +0100
Mae'r gyfres fer ymwybyddiaeth mewn natur yn cyflwyno chwech o ymarferion i chi gyflawni yn eich cartref, eich gardd neu yn y byd o'ch cwmpas. Mae synau o wahanol ardaloedd o'r Carneddau yn cyd-fynd a phob recordiad.
Ymwybyddiaeth…
Yn syml, mae ymwybyddiaeth yn dod a'n sylw i'r presenol. Pan mae ein meddyliau'n prysuro, gall hyn fod yn doriad hynod bwysig at ein iechyd cyffredinol.
Ymwybyddiaeth mewn natur…
Mae natur yn le perffaith i ymarfer ac yn aml rydym yn ymgysylltu'n naturiol gyda'r amser presenol a'n synhwyrau wrth dreulio amser yno.
Podlediadau a gwahoddiad…
Gall bob ymarfer gael ei wneud y tu mewn wrth edrych tu allan at y byd naturiol, neu unrhyw le o'r ardd gefn i gopa mynydd. Pam lai gwrando ar y podlediad tu mewn ac yna gwneud yr ymarfer y tu allan heb gyfarwyddyd, Gallwch atgoffa eich hun o'r pwyntiau yn y gwahoddiadau cyn mynd allan. Gall mynd a rhywbeth gyda chi i eistedd arno fod yn hwylus i gadw'n sych.

This series of short mindfulness in nature podcasts will bring you six different mindfulness practices to try at home, in your garden or in the natural world. Sounds from different parts of the Carneddau about each recording.
Mindfulness…
Quite simply, mindfulness is about bringing attention to the present moment. When our minds get busy, this can be a welcome break which can support our overall wellbeing.
Mindfulness in nature…
Nature is a wonderful place to practice mindfulness and very often we naturally engage with the present moment through our senses when we spend time there.
The podcasts and the invitations…
Each mindfulness practice can be done inside looking out or in the natural world, anywhere from a garden to a forest to a mountain top. Why not try listening to the podcast indoors and then having a go outdoors without the guidance. You could cast a glance over the pointers in the invitations as a reminder before you head out. Outside, something to sit on can be handy to protect you from the cold or wet.

Yr Ysgwrn is not your typical Welsh farmhouse. the history and symbolism that the place represents is one of the main reasons the Snowdonia National Park Authority bought it in March 2012.

In this Welsh episode of the Eryri Podcast Naomi Jones, SNPA's Head of Cultural Heritage speaks to three special friends to Yr Ysgwrn, the poet Myrddin ap Dafydd, the arts director Siwan Llynor and the artist Luned R Parri about how this historic home has inspired generations of Welsh culture.

Welcome to the first English episode of the Eryri Podcast from Snowdonia National Park Authority.
This month we are looking at the Special Qualities of Snowdonia National Park which are the reasons for our designation as a National Park. All National Parks have a clearly defined list of ‘Special Qualities’ similarly to how World Heritage sites have a defined Outstanding Universal Value or Special Areas of Conservation have. Our Special Qualities set out what makes the area unique and help us all understand what needs to be protected and enhanced; they define what gives this area its unique sense of place.
In this episode Angela Jones SNPA's Partnerships Manager discusses some of these special qualities with conservationist and photographer Ben Porter, Dr Angharad Price from Bangor University and Roland Evans from Gwynedd Council.
The next podcast will be broadcasted in on the 18th of February and will be discussing the Carneddau Landscape Project. (Through the medium of Welsh).
